ACEC Virginia SWaM/DBE Round Robin with VDOT

Connect, collaborate, and create new business opportunities at the ACEC Virginia SWaM/DBE Round Robin. This unique networking event is designed to bring together engineering firms, SWaM-certified firms, DBE-certified firms, and VDOT representatives for focused, one-on-one conversations that foster meaningful partnerships.

Firm Registration

Firm Registration is limited to 15 firms and includes:

  • Admission for up to three (3) firm representatives
  • Lunch for all registered attendees
  • Logo recognition throughout the event
  • Dedicated one-on-one meetings with each participating SWaM/DBE firm as they rotate to your table during the Round Robin
  • Networking opportunities with VDOT representatives, who will also be seated at your table throughout the event

Be sure to bring plenty of business cards to maximize your networking opportunities!

SWaM/DBE Firm Registration

SWaM/DBE Registration is limited to 15 firms.

To participate as a SWaM/DBE-certified firm, you must register using the SWaM/DBE Firm Registration option. As a registered SWaM/DBE firm, you will rotate to every participating firm's table and have seven (7) minutes with each firm to introduce your company, discuss your capabilities and services, and explore potential teaming opportunities.

Please bring plenty of business cards and be prepared with a concise overview of your firm's qualifications and expertise.

About our Lunch Presenter:


Daniel Axson is a licensed Professional Engineer that leads ACEC's technology education agenda, developing programs and partnerships that help member firms adopt AI and digital tools and translate industry trends into practical outcomes. At ACEC, he champions professional learning and policy that enable confident use of emerging technologies, delivering courses, and case studies that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and drive business transformation. Prior to joining ACEC, Daniel was an engineering consultant providing professional engineering services to a variety of clients and projects. Additionally, Daniel worked for a technology company as a subject matter expert on technology and its use in the industry, help the company better understand the engineering industry and engineering companies better understand the product. He has a B.S. and M.S. in Civil (structural) Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
