Matthew Hale, AIF 

Matt brings over a decade of experience in managing investments for both institutions and high net worth individuals. Since merging his firm with Virginia Asset Management, Matt’s leadership, knowledge, and commitment to delivering real value to his clients, has been crucial to the success of the practice. Matt focuses on three key areas when working with clients; learning what is most important to his clients, developing a plan that will allow them to attain their financial goals, and educating them on the process. The real benefit, in addition to the clarity and confidence his clients gain in their financial future, is that he ultimately becomes a valuable resource to them.

Michael White, CL,CHFC, CLTC

Mike entered the financial services industry in 1979 and co-founded Virginia Asset Management in 1986, which was later recognized by the Richmond Chamber of Commerce as one of the 25 fastest growing companies in the metropolitan area. Mike specializes in financial, estate and investment planning for individuals and for owners of closely held businesses. He is the founder of Premier Resource Group (PRG), a national organization that provides assistance and resources to distinguished financial planners across the country. Mike is a Richmond native and a proud graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Administration.

Gib Sloan, RICP, AIF

With nearly 20 years in the financial services industry, Gib brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Virginia Asset Management. Gib’s knowledge, leadership and commitment to his clients have been key to the success of this practice. Gib’s focus is in helping his clients navigate and understand their financial situation so that they can prepare for the future. From wealth management to retirement planning to special care planning, he has the knowledge to educate his clients, while helping to guide them.
