Webinar Learning Objectives:

ASCE has been tracking advances in sustainable development in order to share best practices and lessons learned to prompt a paradigm shift in how we plan and design infrastructure. Attendees will be able to describe the role and responsibility of engineers in sustainable development, locate and use new tools and guidance, and apply sustainable thinking in their projects. 

Presenter: 

Denise Nelson, a Professional Engineer, Certified Floodplain Manager, Envision Sustainability Professional, and LEED AP, has 17 years of experience in planning, design, and construction of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure and sustainable development. She is active in ASCE’s Committee on Sustainability and a leading expert on the Envision rating system.
