Join ACEC Virginia for a private guided canal tour through the heart of Richmond. This unique experience takes you along the historic James River and Kanawha Canal, right through Downtown Richmond’s Canal Walk.
Led by knowledgeable narrators, the tour will explore centuries of Richmond’s history—from Powhatan’s Chiefdom to the launch of the world’s first commercially successful electric streetcar. Travel in authentically styled boats while taking in some of the city’s most notable sights, including the Triple Crossing, historic 19th-century architecture, the Virginia Capital Trail, the Low Line gardens, and local wildlife along the James River.
This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow members while enjoying one of Richmond’s most distinctive attractions.
Following the tour, continue the networking at the Richmond Regional Spring Social.
Space is limited—advance registration is required.
